Maybe, the rabbit is an expert on rare and exotic eggs. He goes into the dragon's den to examine it only to have the witch fly in and steal it away to make her spells more powerful. Then, the dragon starts to attack the rabbit by blasting it with it's fire. The rabbit runs away from the dragon while the young witch, flying on her broomstick, laughs at him. Then, suddenly, one of the dragon's blasts hits the witch making her drop the egg. It falls to where the rabbit makes a long leap to catch it. He tries to hop away but that's when the rabbit bumps into the witch just as she was coming down to get the egg back from the rabbit.
Let's see... Well, after the collision, The Rabbit and The Young Witch were caught in the crossfires of the dragon. In panic, they flew up towards a forest. There, they find an old tree house and hide inside from the dragon. What they saw inside the tree house were things that some old witch must've used when she lived in it. The Rabbit realized that, after their collision, that the egg was cracked and bits of the yoke were spilling out. All this gave them an idea. They got things together, cracked open the egg, poured the yoke into a bowl and The Young Witch used only a feather, soft fur and a dragon's scale to mix together a spell, with help from The Rabbit of course. They used the spell to repair the egg shell and create an exact copy of the egg. Then, The Young Witch flies out of the tree house and leads the dragon out far to throw the egg they copied to where the dragon would catch it and fly back to it's den... After all that, The Rabbit was about ready to leave with the repaired egg in his hands. The Young Witch comes back to claim the egg as her prize. They fought over the egg until they heard a crack, than another. Suddenly, a baby dragon hatches from the egg. The baby dragon stared and saw The Rabbit and The Young Witch as his mama and papa. The two couldn't believe their eyes. They were now parents to a little baby dragon.
